19 Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowds to their side. They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, thinking he was dead.20 But as the believers gathered around him, he got up and went back into the town. The next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe. 14:19-20
The first time we see the Apostle Paul in the last reading he was trying to put out the light that had come into the world. Then the light knocked him off his horse on the road to Damascus and he became this amazing force for spreading the light to all the world. I gave him the title of super, not because of his own efforts, but what God was doing through him. These verses above are amazing to me, that he can be stoned and pop up like nothing happened. This gives evidence to the fact that you have a purpose in your life and God is going to make sure you achieve that purpose. He will make the supernatural happen in your life if you allow Him to. We need to take a lesson from Paul and step out boldly for Christ and start spreading the light within this dark world. The more light that we spread the less dark the world will be. Take the risk and share the love of Jesus, God will make you super, maybe not to the point of deflecting stones though.
