The Essential 100 Day 47: Jeremiah 1, 2, and 3:1-5: Protection When Out Of Comfort Zone

18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land.19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:18-19

I love these section of verses in this passage.  The rest of the reading was the judgement that was going to fall on Israel.  Kind of sad what was in store for them if they did not turn from the other gods that they were following.  What is really awesome is if God asks you to do something beyond your comfort zone, He is going to be there right with you the whole way.  I can be honest here and say my biggest fear is public speaking.  I always think I am going to say something dumb, but always when I share with a group I find people coming up to me and telling me that they were touch by something I said.  So public speaking is way outside my comfort zone, but if God wants me to do it I know I have His full backing behind it.  The Holy Spirit is always behind what I am saying and giving me power in my words.  Just like doing this blog.  Not many people read it, but I hope that just one person might read it and glean something from it.  Let these scriptures give you comfort outside of your comfort zone.  God will direct your path.
